I have learned that my G2 stock 11" coil is not waterproof, isn't it supposed to be?

I have heard of 11s leaking but never of ones that were not supposed to be water safe.
2 cents worth of hear say. :detecting:

Some of the earlier coils leaked. Call Felix and he will take care of you. The G-2 coils are supposed to be waterproof. 1-800-413-4131 Keep us posted.

how long would it have to be submerged to see if there would be a problem? Guess I need to check mine out, does this also include the 5x10 oval and 5" coils? thanks

I use mine in water with no problem. Are you using a coil cover? I can see how water could possibly get trapped in a coil cover, and with sloshing around in there, cause some falsing. Kev
