I have had an explorer for some time. The first one was bad wouldnt find anything. The 2nd worked better. We have had a lack of rainfall for the last 5 months didnt give this a lot of thought until we had rain for the last four days. The explorer would not find but one coin in my test garden witch ranged from 6 - 12 inches deep. A tough test garden witch is about a year old. the day it quit raining Is the day I got my new DFX so I tested both of them to my suprize the explorer found just about everything with very loud tones where before not even a faint whisper. The DFX wont find anything. but I am new at the DFX. I was wondering if anyone has had the problem before. I know the ground conditions are a factor but never noticed it to this degree. Would like to talk to someone who has noticed this. Its like the explorer wont go deep until the ground is very moist. ??
Thank you
Joe
