I have been thinking about starting another .......

hobby, something I have played around with most of my life but now can do it from home, I really enjoy this hobby but never really went after it. I have been going to Las Vegas for 30 years but now the internet brings it right into my home and I don't have to drive the cheve for 4 hours in 116 degrees temps any more

I have always been a poker player, played poker for marbels when I was in grade school, dollars when I was in high school, now I want to play with the big boys, I want to win the World Series of Poker, I know what you are thinking, moron, hahaha but I love the cards

What do ya think folks, maybe give it one shot, if I keep winning you can watch me on ESPN, hahaha

Give me some feed back, I can pactice on bubba, hahaha

I do have a friend here that do play on line(Poker Stars.com).He dose win every now an then.We play golf just about every week,Two weeks ago he told me he won $1200.00 one night and the week before he won $1500.00.I think he said it cost him $10.00 or $20.00 to play.He has an account with them.Remember,Lot's of people can get to that account.Life is good

... you have to determine how much time and money you can devote to it. When too much of either cause something negative to your life outside the hobby, then the hobby becomes a job or a disease and must be changed or eliminated.

I love to play 3 card poker and do so about once or twice a year on a cruise ship and play until I loose what I had budgeted to lose or the cruise ends, whichever comes first.

When younger, I used to enjoy a good winter time / snowed in neighborhood game of regular dealer's choice poker, ... nickle, dime, quarter, quarter limit raise, 3 raise limit. I play for the laughs and BS ... certainly not for the winnings.
