I have been testing the NELsharpshooter on the silver umax

[size=medium] and its an interesting coil . 1st off its a tad bit less depth and you can't say its better or worse because the concentric and the sharpshooter are two different coils for two different jobs , I had to ground balance the machine for the sharpshooter and then it could get a coin under my basalt stone and hot rock and not go off on the stone it cuts thru the minerals extremely well and that is its strong point but the concentric rules in the mild to medium ground just a super coil , the 8" is but the sharpshooter is excellent in the badd ground when the concentric can't even hear a target , I may be posting a video soon [/size]
 
I've gotten really attached to the Sharpshooter coil. I sure hope that you do a video comparing the different coils.

I wish that you had a detector with a ground balance to do the test. GB is critical when it comes depth, as you well know.

the 5x10 size elliptical coil is my favorite size. I have never had one on a tesoro. Could you test it on a bottle cap? DD coils always seem to have problems with them.
