General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I thought I would post this here since I am not getting any response from using the "Contact Us" button on the forum.

Here is what happened and I would like a valid explanation as to why. I have been a member of this site since at least 2009 although I don't post that often I still frequent the site quite often when I need info regarding detectors, checking out what's happening on the beach or in the water or to possibly make a purchase from a fellow member in the classified section.

I posted that I was looking for a ctx 3030 and I had a few members contact me and I did make a purchase from a wonderful fellow down in Virginia. Now that I got a new machine I posted a for sale post to try to sell my CZ-21 and my Minelab SE. I followed all the guidelines and general rules stated at the top of the page and not long after posting, the post disappeared. I promptly send a email using the "Contact Us" link and waited for a response. No response but whoever is responsible took away my viewing privileges from the Classified Section now. Again, email sent and no response.

Who can I talk to to get some answers as to what the heck is going on???

You posted 2? Was your "response" less than friendly?
 
I did post 2 one water and the other land in the same post not 2 different posts. I'm not a dealer in no way, shape or form. I'm embarrassed to say I did not see that in the "fine print". Maybe that's why, but it would have been nice to be informed that my post was deleted because of that. I could have modified it and all would have been fine by me. To stop me from viewing the classified is pure vindictive in my eyes.
 
There are no fine print on that page at all. Had you bothered to read the posting notice at the top of the page before performing your post, you wouldn't be in this position now. < 1 detector listing with in a 90 period. >

As far as not responding to you, I responded back to you as soon as I received your note. I responded back to you viva the same method you contacted Finds Support. Perhaps your IP is blocking certain messages to you, or maybe it's in your SPAM filter on your computer.

Mr. Bill,

I never received a response via email, I don't know if it's a spam issue or not. You could have sent me a p.m. stating I screwed up, don't let it happen again or something along those lines. To outright shut me out of ever viewing or posting on the classified section, was that nessessary?
 
Had you bothered to read the opining statement on the classifieds you would had seen this in bold underlined print.

Stop bellyaching about a problem you created all by yourself. Enough said on this subject, it is what it is.

Ok guys take a deep breath, So What Mr. Bill is trying to say is you listed two machines, whether in one add or two. Rules state ONLY ONE DETECTOR So thats why it, or they were deleted. :starwars:
