I've never used one but may have to buy something in the not too distant future because they don't make Explorers anymore and that's what I've been using for 15 years more.
Looks like there is a wider divergance between ferrous and nonferrous numbers. On the 1-35 scale it looks like ferrous items are high 20's on up.
My question is this. Do deep, masked silver or copper coins ever have readings in the 20's or higher on the ferrous scale? On the Explorer a deep, masked silver or copper coin can be pulled right into the middle of the ferrous zone.
I'm guessing it's the same on the Etrac but have no idea, that's why I'm asking.
