I have a VDI question concerning the G2/F75LTD:usan:

Nope. They are not the same. Can't remember the VDI numbers on an F75 (I had an F70 with the same VDI numbers as the F75), and then I got a Gold Bug Pro (same as the G2). I found out quickly that the VDI numbers are different.

Here are approximate VDIs on the Gold Bug Pro/G2...

Nickels -- 58
Zinc Pennies -- around 75-76-77
Copper Pennies -- 82-83
Dimes -- 83-84
Quarters -- mid to upper 80s

Dime 70
Quarter 81
F75 has more room on the bottom of the scale
on the upper end of the scale thy get closer together.
