I Have A Question

Moose

Fully extended I just put a tape on mine for ya. 54" for back to bottom of the coil....shaft from the back of the control housing to the bottom of the coil was 37".

I am 6' and have the shaft locked two holes up so you would have two more notches of extension to go based on my set up. Hope that info helps

Hello moose I'm over 6 ft and have no issues with height of my Racer :detecting: Excellent!!

Hey, Moose. I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall and I'm happy with the length of the Racer.
When I hunt while swinging the coil pretty close to my feet, I use the second-to-last
hole on the shaft. When I swing the coil a bit farther from my feet, I use the last hole.

So I suspect you'll have no problem. Of course, body proportions vary. If you have
shorter arms than me, or higher shoulders, you might need even more length than
I do. That seems unlikely, but I've learned that we oversized guys are not all alike,
and different people use different detecting methods (such as coil position when
swinging a detector).
