I have a Question.

Just bought a ace 250 while air testing it, After the tone i hear a very low short sound.could this be the microprocessor reseting.? Thanks BILL.

(1. How high was the sensitivity
(2. What was the object, conductivity?
(3. Was there any jewelry on the test hand?
(4. Slow or fast sweeping?
There are three tones, some middle tones have a "skip" tone, and a slow sweep will cause multiple signals in some cases. While the Ace is credited with a slow response, jewelry next to a sample will still cause a second sound-I have found a dime and a nickel together and got both tones nearly mixed together.

I've never airtested one, just used one a bunch. All I ever heard was targets to be dug. Forget airtesting and get out there and let the 250 do it's job for you...find treasure!! Enjoy your new machine, sorry I couldn't help!!

I asked my better half if hers ever does that and she said that she's never noticed it doin' anything like that. Then again, she doesn't air test. Just hunts normal while runnin' circles around me.
Hope ya get it worked out.:wiggle:Happy Hunting!:)

First of all let me say thanks for the post.I bought the 250 for a friend and was checking it out.But it is part of the signal. It is at the very end of the signal. It sounds like a very very low grunt sound at the end.I am sure it is ok.Thanks HH BILL..
