I have a question about a coil?

A little while back I purchased an MXT, I currently use a MineLab SE which I have became used to and like. I purchased the MXT because that is what I thought about buying before I purchased the ML and I just always wanted one, I guess because of the Hype! Anyway I have used the detector 3-4 times and found maybe a couple of handfulls of relics. My question is.... is the 6x10 DD coil the coil to use as an all around coil and replace the stock coil? It seems like I hear eveyone talking about the 6x10 DD but where I have not been using the MXT I reallly have not paid attention to what they have been saying and what applications they were using it for. All advice is welcome and thanks

Only if you have moderate or worse ground. In ground that's pretty good, the stock coil will still get better depth. I think a lot of people like the 6X10 DD better because of the shape (easier to get into tighter places), because once you get the hang of it, the 6X10 is easier to pinpoint with and its lighter than the stock coil.

I HAVE BEEN USING THE 6X10DD ON MY DFX AND HAVE HAD BETTER SUCCESS WITH IT THAN I DID WITH THE STOCK COIL. MAYBE I AM JUST HITTING THE TARGETS BETTER? BUT I HAVE ALL BUT REPLACED THIS ONE IN ALL MY HUNTS 6X10DD ALL THE TIME!!!!! THIS IS WHAT I FOUND LAST TIME OUT WITH IT!!!!
