I have a DX-1 probe on order any feed back on the Probe with 10" DD ?

I think if you meant does it cause elecrical interference with the 10 DD coil, you are missing one piece of information about how an "inline" probe works.

The DX-1 comes with a switch box and a cable that you connect to your MXT. Your main search coil in turn gets connected to the switch box.

Now, when you want to use the probe, you flick the switch, which just toggles which coil is connected to the MXT. That is why the inline probe is so great, it's basically a 1" coil that utilizes all the electronics of the MXT, including discrimination. When done with the probe, you flick the switch back to the main coil and away you go. No interference, and will work with any coil, as only one coil is actually electrically connected at a time.

I hope I explained that properly.

GpSnoopy put it pretty well, no competition or interference with the coil at all. HOWEVER, be warned that, especially at first, you'll find yourself forgetting to switch back and realize after a bit of swinging in slilence you've been hunting with the coil switched off which of course is not conducive to any finds.LOL

There great... I picked one up yesterday and love it. You made the right choice. Your going to be surprise how fast you find target with it. I'm new to ground fishing and I'm finding targets a lot faster now.
