I don't have enough posts, here yet, so I can't post these for sale. Need 3 more posts, if I'm correct, after this one. I'm not going to post them and go away, I'm back full time til the end of time with the hobby. I've been into it since the 70's, and life got in the way and I moved to Colorado and got away from hunting. (Went Blacksmithing a lot too), But now I just bought a new F-2 and really am liking it and enjoying learning it. I'm sure my wife wants a new machine, too, and we both need the newer lighter-weight machines. I used the Groundhog Coin Hunter this Sunday and it still works great. My dream machine is either a ML Xterra 705 Gold Pac or the Whites MXT Pro. I still don't know which it will be when I get the geetus.

I did also buy the Garrett Pin Pointer and that's the best thing to come along since sliced bread and individually wrapped cheese.

EKW

then there will be a small market for them on the Classifieds, as long as the asking price is reasonable. I have sold a couple of older BFO's the past month or two, both dating to the late '60s, but the price was right for both working detectors.

By that I mean the price was right for the buyer. Otherwise I would have still had them taking up corner space somewhere.

Spend time to learn and master your Fisher F2, and keep dreaming about a top-end versatile model. Personally, I would suggest you look at the MXT Pro of the two you mentioned.
