i had to leave the target there!

hello all, on yesterday's short hunt, i got a good signal at the base of a huge oak tree in the woods. i had found what i believe is a dropped .58 cal. civil war era bullet. only a very small edge is visible, as the large roots have grown around it completely. further, the bullet is situated so it's almost impossible to get a pic of it. i'm not about to hack up the old oak tree for a bullet; i suppose some things are better left untouched. i at least wanted to get a pic of it, but i was denied that too! can't win them all, eh? hh,

That's disappointing, GRAY GHOST; I've done the same many , many times..with other types of targets.

There is more out there.. HH
