I had another "Just when you think you have heard it all" call today.

! month ago we installed a new vandal proof, recessed, refridgerated (remember this) drinking fountain in the High School gym. It looked great and worked very well. Today I got a call from the Principal of the High School. He was worried that something was very wrong with the new drinking fountain. He went on to tell me that when the kids would drink out of it that it would make a noise that sounded like a electric motor of come kind was running, then the noise would stop after the kids had quit drinking after a few minutes. What do you think I told this well-educated member of our community? DC

Its obviously the automatic dialing system which sends a phone message to the water company to send more water down the pipe! Or it also could be the Auto-facebook modem that reads each kids biometric chip, and sends a pre-written post to their personal facebook page, alerting their friends that they took a drink of water at 10:19 am..it could also be the re-circulation pump, which is an EPA mandate, that recirculates any water that goes down the drain, and pumps it back out the nozzle, in a effort to not waste resources...I bet He'd buy any of those explanations if you can say them with a straight face!
