I had a real devil of a time today

Headed out to go sturgeon fishing on the Columbia river this morn at 5am. :sleepy: with a long 2 hr. drive each way. Managed to launch the boat without going for a swim, fired up the outboard... so far so good... parked the truck and trailer and Dean and I headed out for what would have been a great day. We planned to stop at a ghosttown that can only be gotten to by boat :twodetecting: 3 minutes into the trip and the bearings in the lower unit in the motor let go. That was that for fishing for us, I've since learned that they were really biting today...a little salt for my ego
Drove home and took a short nap, woke up and decided to take a shower, almost no hot water... aghhhhh...now what! The lower heating element burned out. Picked up a new element and refilled the tank, switched on the power and decided to mow the yard while the water heated up.....dead battery...only that lovely tick-tick-tick sound came out from under the hood  dug out the charger, hooked it up, plugged it in and a sound like my welder makes along with a lot of smoke came from the charger....Noooooooo I can't take any more of this :surrender: I ended up pushing the mower to the front of my pick-up and jump started the little  son-of-a-gun. Ok, maybe now something will go right today. When I engaged the blades there was a squeal and smoke...one of the blade bearings was frozen up.
I've since given up and am sitting here with a shot of brandy in front of me while I type and contemplate......what next!!!!! :drinking: :help:

Man, you just can't make up stuff like this... and how was your day????

The devil was sure lookin' down on you today!
