I Guess The Armed Forces Is In Real Need Of People

his Just Happened Yesterday---A Friend Of My Ex Called Her This Morning And Told Her That Her Husband Just Got A Notice He Was Called Up To Go To Iraq On Jan 15--- Now This Guy Is Close To (50) And Has Already Spent Over (25) Years In The Marines----I Think He Joined And Went To Vietnam He Was In Desert Storm For Sure---He Has 3 Kids Now---As Far As I Know He Was Not anything Special In The Marines-----I Cannot Believe They Need Men So Bad That They Are Starting To Resort To This---Now If He Was 35 And Had Not Spent Much Time In The Marines I (Maybe) Could See It But Not After 25 Years And Being Too Old To Be Able To Keep Up With The Young Guys------------VERN--CHARLIE--Who Knows You Could Be Called Too----They Did That In Germany And Here To Some Extent At The End Of The War
 
I've heard several stories like that with guys 55 being called back after being out for decades and officers that have been retired forever. They don't want to bring back the draft because some of the rich folk's kids might get called up or some Congressman's kid. What I want to know iswhat are they going to do when they run out of call-backs. At the current rate this war will still be going on 10 years from now. If they would pay our troops what they are paying the Blackwater mercenaries over there ( up to $200,000 per year ) maybe they could get more recruits.
