This hasnt been the greatest season so far at least for me

Rain all spring then Heat that really dried the ground had
made it tuff to get out
Ive noticed that comapred to past seasons there
havent been a lot of really good finds...

Heres hoping Fall is great for us all

Same here on the wet side of the Cascades. A wet winter that didn't end until late June and then a stretch of dry wether that has been going on for thirty days in a row.
The ground here hardens like a rock without the usual six hours a day of rain and the grass really doesn't do well being cut or sliced while dry.
Kind of tired just hitting bark-chip playgrounds but I would rather limit my finds than risk leaving any damage behind for others to notice.
Lots of woods and timber patches to hunt but the brush in this part of the world makes hunting "off road" impossible.
