I guess it is time to upgrade to the V3i...:surrender:

Well, I was going to try to get an hour of detecting in before the Phillies vs. Reds started, but I noticed that my toggle switch is broken!!! I guess now would be a good time to bite the bullet and send the unit out for an upgrade to the V3i.

Since I am also sending it out for warranty repair do I still have to pay for the shipping?
 
:shrug: I think you would have to call the service center that you are sending it to for that answer Neil. A couple of calls might be in order because the independent Service Center might be different than Sweet Home.
 
I shipped a bad D2 coil to Sweet Home,OR about two weeks ago, and paid about $9. for priority mail. They repaired/replaced it and shipped it back yesterday at no charge. How can you beat that? talk about a first class AMERICAN business.
