I let everything go to the dogs while building the plane -- now the house needs painting inside and out plus some concrete walkway work and new carpeting, and I want to build a small greenhouse to replace a rusty cheapo tin shed in the backyard. My wife, a.k.a. "Fearless Leader" has much of our summer planned. Concerning writing stories, the trouble with many of them is that some of the people in them seem unreal -- NOBODY could be THAT stupid, but unfortunately they actually managed to screw their lives up that badly! T'ain't easy. People in general prefer twisted lives and loose morals in their TV and books -- consider soap operas, Jerry Springer, and that slob of an author Hunter Thompson, who just committed suicide with a revolver while his son and 6-year-old grandson were in the same house! Class act, huh? I'd guess that folks like to hear of disfunctional people because it makes them feel better about themselves, because none of us are angels fer sure!
