I had to see for myself which machine was better...the gti2500 or the White'sDFX.The gti is more user friendly. The dfx has target id but it doesnt have target size.Iown both machines. The dfx is lighter and easier on your back, but the gti2500 is a quarter magnet. The gti is never wrong when it comes to quarters. The dfx however ,is not as accurate.Ive pulled up toy cars and bottlecaps when the dfx read25 cents. The gti2500 is truly a remarkable machine, and Ive got a diamond ring and an1844 penny to back that up....as well as a bucket full of quarters.

A lot of people say the same things. They say them about the 1350, too, which I own.

It is true that a quality detector in the hands of a person patient and perseverent enough to master it will work all the time. Hard to argue with that logic.

It helps when it is an easy to use machine, as well.

All Garretts have a hefty appetite for quarters. If there is one around anywhere a Garrett will sniff it out.
