I gotta tell ya, WHITE'S ELECTRONICS RULES! Got my 2 detectors back yesterday.

WOW! I sent them my two beat up detectors - an Eagle 2 SL and an XLT. When I received and opened the two boxes I didn't recognize them. The White's team worked wonders on the pair. Their service department is second to none, and their PR people are really friendly and helpful. Once again I'm impressed with the efficiency and quality of White's.

Look under Whites Electronics Metal Detectors ----under specialty detectors.. That will give you details you may be looking for.....Jack

There are way too many variables involved with refurbs. In my situation, both detectors worked just fine, but cosmetically they were a disaster. This just goes to show that the White's detectors are like Timex watches - they take a licking and keep on ticking. If they'd had to replace any of the circuitry, I believe it would have been a bit more costly. Either way, it's a bona-fide bargain, and a great little investment. I must state that I will never say or do anything that would cause White's any sort of a problem. They have always been there for me ever since I bought my first White's detector in 1977 I think it was - a Coinmaster 5000 D. My favorite all time detector is still the MXT, and my wife will probably bury it with me someday. Hopefully not soon.

White's definitely takes care of me...Excellent company... One thing that has helped the detector community, is that service has started to play a major role in the sale of the detector initially.
Tesoro is known for it's service as is White's and others. With the advent of the internet, boards like this can hurt companys if they do not follow up on the service end of the sale. FWIW, I sold a gentleman a Refurb DFX, it was bad, I sent him another, it was bad, White's sent him a new one at now extra charge and covered all the shipping for the other machines. You can't beat that....
You will see some good releases from White's this year because of the fact that the Garrett 250 and 150 has eaten away at a segment of the market that they need to get back into... Also the high-end detectors, Explorer SE and F-75 is tearing into their sales too. The market is demanding a DFX replacement with some new exciting innovative features......Expect something big before long....... Best to all, Richard

i feel that whitey has got something "big" and will release it for the spring market!..spring's a;most here!
