Machines have come a long way. There are any number of machines priced , let's say under $350. In the hands of a newbie who likes to hunt, these machines can pay for themselves rather quickly. (Determined on the hunter & target areas) Now no way do I include myself in the big leagues but. I have owned 5 machines, priced from $180 to $1,200. All have covered their cost. Last year a unit I hunt found a ring twice it's value. Happens all the time in this hobby. Most of my hunts, I come back anywhere from a buck to $9. I'm still happy. Than there's those home run swings, nice chunk of swag. Be it Gold or Silver it's still a thrill for me. No price on pleasure.
