I got tired thinking about it ...

I have gotten so tired of reading about the Compadre
that I just ordered one.

Seems to me like that is probably the best "tot lot" detectors on
the planet. And the good news is that even the grand-kids can
even use it.

Those who have them sure seem to love it !!

Happy Hunting

I know you will not regret it. Mine has found gold and silver, not to mention lots of coins. It is quite an enjoyable detector and the one I find myself reaching for on every hunt. If I could buy a more expensive detector right now it would be a vaquero or cibola, but that is not possible. The Compadre will never be sold or traded and has sold me on Tesoro for life. Make sure you let us know what you find. Good Luck and HH

Sure will let you know what I find.

I also heard the same thing, The Cibola and the Vaquero are also
some ofther "hot tickets". Everyone loves their Tesoro's.

Been using a Vaquero and an F2 for awhile and I love both.
Bought a 7 inch coil Compadre to look for jewelry the others could miss last August.
This is a used one with the sense turned up internally to just about max...and I love it this way!

This thing goes off about a foot away from big metal in tot lots, but there is always a double beep if another target is in the vicinity.
I found this Loonie within 4 inches of a huge metal pole in a tot lot 2 days ago that has probably been there awhile because it was heavily masked...but not from my Compadre!

The pic with the 2 silver chains and the small gold ring were from one of my first Compadre hunts at a site I had hit several times before with a Vaq and an F2.
The chain on the left was invisible to a friends E-Trac...he had to scrape the thing on the bottom of his coil to get any reading at all, came in nicely between iron and foil on the Compadre.

The small fine silver chain was also an easy Compadre find.
The knob was set on the "R" in iron to find it.

Air testing these jewelry pieces on the the F2 they were almost impossible to pick up, and almost as hard for the Vaq.
Plus, this thing is a coin hog to the max at any site.

Love my Compadre!

Great to hear you're finding more than coins. I also got the Compadre but winter is here in Ontario and the ground is a little to hard right now. Can't wait till spring to start going again.

I did some air testing and the Compadre hits on small pieces of gold. I tested it on All Metal Mode.

Where area are you hunting in? I noticed the Loonie!

I took out my new Compadre and the ground was still a bit frozen.
I really like the way it feels and sounds. I purchased it for the
tot lots and I know its going to be alot of fun to use!

Like others have said before ...its one of those detectors
you would really never to sell.

Looking for the ground to thaw out more!
