i got the idx classic sl with 6" blue max coil

well I did it got the idx classic sl detector with the 6" blue max coil should have it by 4/14----thank you woodchuck.Missed out on the 8'' royal burgundy coil.SO,DOES ANYONE HAVE A CHEAP ONE :shrug::help:
 
The 5.3 is on my wish list for my classic. Just need to find a good cheap used one. I am a big fan of the smaller coils.
 
Spend your money on the Mr. Bill's Mod rather than the 8" coil. You will see a greater overall gain in all areas of use.

Whites Classic, II, III, ID, and IDX Modifications

Seeing that I have got out of the metal detecting busness. I thought I would pass this on to you all.

Be very carefull unsoldering the componets. Distroying the circuit traces is very easy to do.



Remove VR1 Trimmer off the board. Replace with a 50k linear taper, single turn potentiometer.

Remove VR4 trimmer off the board replacing it with a 100k linear taper, single turn potentiometer.

Mount these potentiometer
