Got permission for a yard here in town on the south of the railway tracks, of all the years I've hunted in town I've never hunted south of the tracks. About a fourth of the houses in town are south of the tracks, but just never hunted there. Not that Burden is a big town, about 500 folks in town. From the looks of things I may want to hunt there more often. Hunted the yard for about 2 1/2 hours. I'm sure going back tomorrow! Got a 8x6 sef coil ordered, this yard would be a great one to try it out in, didn't have a treshhold hum much at all in any of the yard it is so trashed. By the way, the half dollar came in as a solid fe2co47, never bounced at all and was about 7" down. So what they say is true, in the preset coin program you can miss the big silver cause the upper right hand corner is blanked out. I was running Andy's coin program except I had the lowwer part of the screen blanked out up to 24 because of all the nail falsing.
Here's a pic of all my finds with the etrac since I got it in March most of the silver dime came from the fair grounds here, that I have pounded to death with about ever other make and brand of detector know to man. Everytime I bring home a silver from there found with the etrac, my wife says "not bad from a hunted out park".
