I cant wait... I probably wont sleep much tonight. I went out with my cheapo MD today (Titan 2000XD) just to get in the spirit of MD'ing. Found a gold ring at 7" to 9" down

I cant wait to get the V3i out looking.... Its really hard to pinpoint with the Titan

I got it today at 9:24am, I was so bummed that I could not take it out right away but I needed to get stuff ready for my Idaho trip. I will be taking it with me to play around there when not out shooting or fishing. I have so much to read up on. Where can i get a copy of others programs to play with? would like to get a good GOLD, deep SILVER and coin&jewelry.

You have made a great choice. I've had my V3i now for 6 weeks and every time I go out, it's an adventure. I recently found my first gold ring with my machine. I would recommend using Magic's program. Tweak it for your conditions and then stick with it. For me it is the only program I use for my style of hunting and my ground conditions. Good hunting. Find that gold ring, do a happy dance. And then say

I think the Hi Pro program will take care of all three if you mean gold rings and not gold nuggets. I would suggest getting to know the factory programs before starting to do custom settings. Once you get familiar with what settings does what then you can make your own program for your ground and hunting style. If you do want to mess around with Magic's Program, do a search and it will pop right up.
