I got 6 barber dimes 3 from park 3 from field.Also got my first seated from land(I got beach seated poor shape) 1873 seated dime.Also got a stange large copper that may be a hammerd copper its soaking.My hunting buddie Bob got a nice piece of gold an initial ring looks very old! I love the beach but these old fields are nice too just a little muddy

And what do you mean by "field". I have few old cellar holes down here on the cape but all I've found are Indian heads. I have done some research but have not come up with anything yet. in the oldest parks,yards, & swimming holes I've hunted the oldest silver I've found is merc.dimes. I certainly don't mind mercs but I seem to be at a bump in the road that I can't get over. I try to think outside the box for new spots but haven't come up with anything worthwhile.

I know it may sound hard to belive but until just recently I had found way more Barber coins than merc's or rosie's! I spend a lot of time researching and talking to people. This is my only real hobbie or maybe addiction?! My job also gives me time to hunt alot.Plus I met up with two hunters that are into this hobbie as much as me and we work great together!! You got to just get out there and find the clues and ask lots of questions!! HH GB
