Just call me "Jason" I have found the Golden Fleece..!! so you can stop looking for it. 
The wife and took a road trip to Mineral County Nevada, about 130 miles from home. (No Snow) and now I know why it's called Mineral County. My Nox-600 and her Vanquish 540 Pro had a very difficult time getting clear feedback. It was nothing but constant chatter no matter what your settings were. I was FORCED to use Field-1 mode, which is designed for that kind of an area, but it was still very chattery no matter how many times I ground balance or made adjustments to every possible setting. I did manage to pull up an 1898 dime, and a couple other coins from the 1950s. This was a real challenge, and I felt a little sorry for the wife with a Vanquish 540 Pro which could not adapt to such heavy mineralisation. But still a FUN day.
