This may help some people.

I have the XS and don't have the luxury of dual numbers.

My hearing is not the greatest in terms of tone differences.

I knew that beaver tails and foil would be a problem so I decided to see what numbers came up on the ole XS.

Very similar numbers to the rings. But the rings numbers did not waver. The junk's numbers would change in the air testing.

The sound was a little broken on junk. It seemed to help the broken sound come through when I saw that the numbers varied.

I will use a small coil and low gain to hear the difference on deep targets also. I am using Ferous tones with Cody's FE coins open but I will play around with the base tone setting to see where I can hear the broken tones better.

I am still snowed in here and maybe more coming Sunday so I wanted to get the most testing done indoors.
