And I didn't even have to leave my own yard

My good buddy Cierlast, ( Ted ) likes to top by my house on his way up north to his cabin here in Wisconsin, Cierlast lives about 80 miles east of me and I think he has to drive west first then head north which will take him right by my home.

Cierlast likes to stop by on his way north and bury a coin in my yard knowing full well that I won't be at home but at work :ninja:, last year Cierlast buried a gold coin in my front yard. Knowing that I never dig shallow targets in my yard Cierlast buried that gold coin maybe 2 inches deep at best and did not tell me what he buried or that it was gold or how deep it was. I had a heck of a time finding that coin because my yard has lots of old nails and junk in it, my yard and home date back to 1920. Cierlast finally had to give me many hints to where he buried it plus how deep he buried it , man I pulled more junk then I ever do in a month of digging but I finally found it

Well Cierlast buried another nice coin but this time on the side of my house, took me a few times out to find it but I got it and what a nice coin it is, Cierlast, thats a much nicer coin then the wheatie I would bury in your yard, hahaha

Here's the front, it says Columbian Half Dollar

The back, World's Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893

Thanks again Cierlast , your a good friend and I enjoyed the hunt as always, now I am ready to start my season of digging and every now and then I will remember these two coins that you buried in my yard and dig a shallow target now and then
