Well that's what it says inside the 14K ring with the 4 small diamonds. Anyway, today's hunt was not that exciting. I hit two drop offs in lakes and went down to 25' in one. BRRRRR You know when you hit the thermocline that's for sure. I was expecting silver also but not one piece today. I got the pocket knife in the first lake and the Mares dive knife in the second. I also found two picnic tables in the second lake. They are in great shape but its in a recreation area. I am sure they wouldn't let me keep them!! Two wheat's and an aluminum ring were my other finds and two pair of glasses and a 5lb soft lead scuba weight that are still in my truck.

5.98 grams of gold and the yellow stone whatever it is.

Tomorrow is another day and hopefully more productive.

LOL that cought me totally off guard and can't stop laughing. They are still down there. I don't carry lift bags with me so I didn't even attempt to bring them out. Metal with plastic tops and seats. Yes we could bring our spear guns and have an underwater fish fry? Or sushi!

Trying to decide where to go today. 6 full tanks and I have to do something. Actually glad I don't have a wife. LOL I would be fixing up the house instead of having fun.

LOL...boy, I wish I could refer to a gold ring day as not to exciting. I'm not having a very exciting YEAR...LOL...only one gold ring so far! Good Luck. HH

Hey scuba, just curious,do you dive alone?
I was certified about 25 long years ago, and have long let my certification run out, but every time I read your posts I consider getting recertified.
However, even now it's hard to find a hunting partner just to detect the beaches around here.(I live on the south shore of Massachusetts)
Anyway, I was just curious to know if you have a hunting partner, as I know diving without a buddy can be very dangerous.

Great hunting!

Umm, I was certified in 1980. Your certification never runs out. If your Padi certified you can get a new card and maybe Naui also. I have dove alone for over 30 years now. I don't go deeper than 75' though. I also don't want to watch a dive partner. Would rather be finding gold!!
