I have a pool ball, shoe horns, an iron, a candlstick holder , a Gameboy, and plenty of cell phones but this find had me laughing. I got a bell tone on my machine and thats always a big target. I found a Craftsman socket today, a rachet with a socket attached and a nice Craftsman screwdriver and so I was thinking another tool. Nope!! It was a poor drowned Ipod. I haven't even taken my finds out of the truck tonight, had to share.

One silver dime, a silver ring, a few wheats and new change were my other good finds. Picken were slim. Will post a picture in a bit.

I've come across quite a number of cell phones and a few digital players of other makes, but so far no iPods. One son did drown an iPod a couple years ago, but it remained in his pocket when he came out of the water.
Congrats on the drowned iPod.

:stretcher: just don't know what we will pull up, congrats

Pull the battery, rinse it in distilled water and let it dry out before replacing a new battery. You never know! I found a Nintendo DS in a newly plowed field. It had been whacked hard (major screen damage) and would flicker but not power up fully, but both game chips in it worked just fine!

Slim pickings but you still got silver! Congrats!
