Whenever we have some friends stop by (non detecting friends), I ask them if they ever saw a rock that a magnet would stick to, nturally they say no, so i stick a small magnet to the all cleaned up rock, they are amazed, then i give it to them for use as a doorstop or conversation piece, they think i'm a wonderful person, and usually tell me of some new places where i may detect, and even find more of these WONDERFUL rocks=Try it= works good
