I was MD'ing in the cornfield/1 room school house for a few hours this afternoon and found a trigger guard from a New York's Hudson Valley Fowler's black powder rifle 1725-1750. WOW, now how did that get there. I hope I can find the rest of that gun.

I'm starting to wonder if their wasn't an old farm house in this field before their was a school house there.
And My other finds for the day. " 2 " V nickels, 1887, 1903, " 3 " IH's, 1880, 1903, " 7 " wheat's and a flat button and on the back it has Superior Orange Colour.
