I found a cool old button today

Today I was going back over some yards that I MD'ed this past week and I found a few more keepers. I found a piece of play money, a whats it, a tootsie toy, 4 wheat's and this old lion button.

I know nothing about buttons and I was wondering if anybody would by chance know how old it is or anything else about it.

only thing I can tell you about that button is that it is sure cool looking! Great find, did it register around nickel range or higher?

I was thinking that I was digging a IH or wheat because The depth meter showed it being a good 6" deep and the numbers were showing 27, 30, 33.

I'm thinking it's made of brass or copper.
