I found a Colonial knee or shoe buckle..circa 1600 - mid 1700's

about 6" deep along the Housatonic River, Shelton, Ct.
 
you credit for tackling the trash around and in it's banks. There are always goodies around the river. I grew up in Salisbury and love hunting around the Housy when I return home. The fishing is great too. Awesome find Maygar and way to go with finding such an old and cherished relic!!!!!!!
