Yesterday I went back down to MO. to the old school that I was at last week. While I was there I got a Quarter signal about a inch or so deep. I poke-n-pop it out and out of habit I recheck the area. That's when I got a dime signal about 6" deep and that's about the depth that I have been finding the old coins at this place and it turned out to be a real nice 1899 Barber dime, Sweeeet. While I was there I also found a 1898 IH, 5 wheat's and a junk sterling ring.
I don't know why, but at this school yard there is only 1 area about "50'x50" that I can find old coins and the rest of the area I can't find much of anything good and it's a huge school yard.
I was using the X-505 with the 10.5 DD 7.5 kHz coil, GB at 25 and sen at 19 " max is 20 " and most old coins were around 6" deep.
