I forgot to use a paint stick with my very small gold targets taped to the stick. The X70 with the 18.75 5X10 and the 18,75 6" is so sensitive it will pick up the iron in your body when you wave your hand over the coil without the target in your hand. What I wanted to try and do was see if the very small filligree gold and very small crosses I had and the gold earings would dis. out if I raised the dis from 0 to 20 in prospect mode. They would not but I could not get a accurate audio when I was waving the targets over the coils with my hand. Had to tape them to a paint stick then it worked fine. You hand would even sound off with it at 20. In the patterns mode even at the allmetal setting my hand would not cause a audio output. So be careful when you air test small gold in prospect mode.
