I finally took the plunge....

I sure I hope I don't regret this :) I got a great deal on a used CTX 3030 that was never used in the water, so.....here we go!! I've been using the E-trac and have used all the Explorer machines since they were released, I'm hoping the transition is somewhat smooth.

It's the pick of the litter. You will like it

If you have ever used a Minelab Xterra....the CTX is a piece of cake....well...with a bunch of added frosting! :)) You'll love it.

What I found going from the Safari that pretty much does everything for you was
that the CTX has a program for a program. Simply put, same basics with much
better fine adjustments. You will be astonished what you have missed in places
you have hunted. That includes shallow targets that somehow slip past the other
machines, the CTX will find. I give you a month and you will be wide open.

Good for you Dan.. Enjoy the machine!
