I Finally Got Out Today And Only Found 2 Cents,

I finally had a chance to get out this morning and walk a field for a couple hours. I only found 2 one cent coins but I'm still happy with them. One was a 53 and the other was a 63.

Awesome! I bet you're a BIG fan of those two! That BIG one is still on my list to find. Congratulations!!!!!

BIG fan  The first large cent was a thrill, the second was exciting, this one was fun but not as exciting as the first two. Even the 63 wasn't on my bucket list anymore. It was my second fatty. I need to find something to scratch off my bucket list. I did find an old shoe buckle today in the same area as the coins. A little research on it shows an almost identical style and size buckle that dates from the mid 1600's to the early 1700's but I highly doubt this one is anywhere near that old.

So cool. Hey, maybe you'll find a Flying Eagle. Is that on your list? I wish you the best of luck and thanks for posting. We all love hearing about each others finds. Sure is beautiful weather for field hunting!

Yes, a Flying Eagle found with the metal detector is still on my bucket list.

I wish you a lot of luck and you've already got the skill. HH!

Until I read down further I thought you found a wheatie and a memorial....

Congratulations on the two Large cents..... :clapping:

My bad, one LC and the fatty (IH).

A fatty is still pretty cool. I have found a few from the old rental place. 2 were the first year of the Indian cents. You're on a roll and hope you get something on your list. HH, Nancy
