I finally figgered out what this thing is!

I found this last year close to the Arkansas River.

I always thought it was a mini ball after I scraped
it until I could just make out the rings on one side.

I'm in central Arkie Land, where are you living at.


The Arkie Barkie is a tool I devised for fast easy recoveries
in wood chips. It dramatically increased my recovery time and
made recoveries much easier.

It's a Camp Fork from the Sporting Goods section of Wollie
World. Cost $3.

Cut a few inches off the two forked ends and bend the
remaining forks into a spiral shape. Like in the photos.

Bend the handle as shown and you have your self an
original Arkie Barkie.

Works something like the old Garden Weassel, if you
remember those from the TV adds.

It looks flimsy, but I have never wore one out. I've lost
a few though.

At $3, who cares.
