Sorry to hear that Mike I did have better luck at a renovation project for a football stadium. Found three wheat pennies, quarters, nickesls and dimes. I also found some 22 calibur shell casings and some other large calibur casings at the stadium at some large dirt piles. Figure that one out.

Give your wife some flowers so you can go out. Sorry I have to say this but my wife lets me go about any time I want to, sorry Mike. She wanted me to get a hobby so I did. Take care everybody and good hunting.

Is there a track around the football field? I detected a school several years ago and I dug a ton of brass. Then it hit me:huh .....they were from a starter's pistol.
 
Yeah, your right someone else told me that also. However there are some extremely larger shell casings. Maybe the starter just got upset and shot the runner for false starting:rofl.
