Got out today with Craig and we hit a old park from the late 1800's, finally back in a old park where the Explorer always seems to shine and has in the past for me. This is my third Large Cent I have found in three different States, thats gotta be a first
There was a 22 shell just above the LC, I tossed the shell at Craig and went back into the hole for another handful of dirt and pulled the 1843 LC out, before I dug the target I let Craig run his coil over it, Craig's little coil pegged silver dime, my large coil jumped from silver quarter to iron and back and fort, Large Cents usually hit in the silver quarter area so I knew I had a good target
After I pulled the LC out of the hole and handed it to Craig I ran my coil back over the hole and got the iron signal, I filled the hole with a smile on my face, the Explorer sniffs out another one
Thanks for letting me tag alone Craig, the burger and beer was a great way to end the day
