I dug everything for three hours at this park. Can you believe it, no rings.

Instead off MD'ing an old house, I thought I would go for the gold. I went to a large park and dug everything in the jewelry mode. Well, I didn't even get a silver. I am done with the parks. Now, back to the old.
This is my total minus a lotttt of trash. $5.70.

I thought this 1951 cent I found at the park was in unusually good shape. I found 223 wheats last year. This is # 1 for this year. I wonder if I will find that many this year?

What are ya complaining about "no rings"??? You got 3 new vehicles  I'd guess that '51 didn't spend much time in pockets before it was lost.

WTG
Smitty

And how long have you been detecting? I wish I could get a ring too each time out. Next time try for 8 hours until you get it right:rofl: ...and nice wheat..........

If there is a kddy park with swings, ect. That is where you should be trying. First look under the swings Mama swings the little kids and maybe lose a gold ring The gold gods have been pretty good to me there. Last Monday I found a 14K gold ladies ring with 3 small diamonds. The ring weighed 3.5 grams.....Jack

I suggest you drink one bourbon, one scotch and one beer...........and you will feel a whole lot better!

I don't touch the stuff. You can have it. It will keep your blood from freezing on your snow hunts.
Hey John
You did great and it looks like you had fun. Keep it up . Later Graw :yo:
When I am out with the Ace, I am always having fun. My wife gets jealous though.

Aw c'mon... That's George Thorogood, not Jake and Elwood.

Jake and Elwood was, "One order was for 6 fried chickens and the other for dry white toast?"

Well, at least you got a nice Wheatie.

Our parks here are hammered to death. They have produced some nice coins over the years and still periodically cough up some deep goodies, but for the most part, I would never choose a park over an old house. The parks are for when you haven't got permission on any other promising sites, 'cause they'll always be there and are always accessible (providing they're legal at all in one's community- my town requires a permit, which I have).

Hope you get something old next time, but this time out it looks like you got pretty good "quantity", if not the "quality" you were after.
