I Dug a 24K GOLD RING!!!!!!!!

hello everyone!

i just got back from a 7 day vacation to texas and minnesota to see family and friends. i went with my girlfriend and came back with my wife...I GOT MARRIED! actually, by definition, we eloped. it was a spur of the moment proposal on friday quickly followed by a whirlwind wedding on the mississippi river in minneapolis on sunday, complete with two photographers, a videographer, an opera singer and a mustached minister/hipster. anyway...

i got back yesterday and got out today with dan the man. we each found silver. i got two rosies and 5 wheats. the find of the day wasn't a coin though. it was the 1/2 oz. 24K GOLD RING i found at about two inches! man, i couldn't believe it! i thought it was gonna be fake, but when i picked up the dirt-encrusted thing i felt the weight immediately. i wiped it off and saw the 24k stamp. i guess i let out some sort of sound that made dan think that i had found a seated. we stood and looked at it for about ten minutes. jeepers, was that ring heavy!

what a great day! after exchanging rings in minneapolis i come home to find a nice, fat wedding present in the dirt at my local park! thanks, park.

here are some pics...anyone know what the symbol is? thanks!

HH, Mike

and nice present from the park. I also tied the knot only a couple weeks ago then bought a house week ago and expecting child in only 9 days. The only detecting that Ive done is my new yard and alls in the dirt is beer cans.

n/t

but doesn't seem to match. I'd bet it is a Asian symbol.

Congrats Mike on both the New Wife and that Outstanding 24K Ring! Could you tell me what something like that (the Ring) comes up on the Display for Digital Numbers? It sure would have been an Eye Popper to see that come from the ground. Good Luck and HH.
