22 khz freq is hitting the target that shows nickle in the icon and the the 2 khz is barely hitting it.Im telling you if this thing is actually using 3 freq at the same time with target analysis like this we are in for a treat.Proves that freq is everything on different types of conductive metals. if the target was a little deeper I dont believe the 2 khz would of signaled.

That photo is a very good representation of what I see on a good target.

with the 2 khz freq. being towards the top and the 22 khz towards the bottom? I hope so .This thing could be super deep on minnie balls on the 2 khz freq.
Thanks

In this photo the blue is on top, 22.5 KHz showing a lower VDI target. If the target was a silver coin then the green 2.5 KHz would probably be on top showing that the lower frequency had a better "eye" on the target.

What about deep rusty iron? Sometimes that shows up under a high coin? We know the 2.5 frequency will hit the higher conductors better. But would a clue to deep iron is that the high frequency would be on top while the VDI shows a high coin? To me if it was in fact a copper of better coin the 2.5 would be on top. Would this be correct?

That's the way it works on mine. The best data/frequency should be on top.

indicating iron. Either that or speed up the sweep and see what the display does. Should not take long to figure out a method that works with this kind of info.

That's true. Now will the Vision tell me if it's a 12 or 16 penny rusty nail? LOL Maybe..................................................

Khouse we do not know how the software defines the interplay of the demodulators for each individual frequency, so... I could be way off on how rusty iron would affect the graphic representation.

Hey, I'm a layman when it comes to electronics so forgive me!

Well if a detector could visually indicate a deep rusty it would look like the Vision may do it? Maybe we're all rushing in with questions. Let the users post their tips and tricks after some hunts and we'll know it's capabilities.

with a high coin reading vdi number with a low freq spike could possibly be iron.? theres going to be alot of learning on this detector but I belive if it works like it should in good be a crazy trash hunter. IMHO.

Who knows? one things for certain though we will know soon enough as soon as they hit the street. And some detectorist gets some time on them.

A guy that is in the know with Whites said 2 machines were coming out in the spring. I wonder if there's another machine coming out or maybe it was the Prizm 6t?
