I Don't Know Which One I'd Give Up If I Had To

My Pro Pointer or my Killer B Wasp Headphones. My Killer B Wasp Headphones got a short in the cord today and I was lost without them. I sent them in immediately for repairs and ordered another set for a backup. I've tried other phones, but they're not the same. Tesoro and Killer B Wasp Headphones are a perfect match. I'll be swinging another brand of detector for the next few days until get my Wasp back.

I have never tried the Killer B Wasp so I can't say anything about them. I did buy a pair of Grey Ghost Originals and have been extremely happy with them. They were a night and day difference over the cheap pair of Garret Clear Sound headphones I had.

I have to agree with you on that ProPointer. Not that I have tried all the others either. I just don't have a reason to try the others because the Pro Pointer has worked and worked really well. I don't baby my Pro Pointer and its usually dirty as heck and takes a beating. I'm sure there are other good pin pointers, but if my Pro Pointer ever fails, I will buy another.

If i had to choose...... I'd keep the propointer :poke: for the coins and relics.....
Headphones in the Goldfields :detecting:

I'm not giving up neither. A good set of headphones makes all the difference in the world. At first I didn't like the Vaquero that much, but when I started using Killer B Wasp Headphones things changed. I could hear those soft deep audio signals and I was better able to distinguish between trash and good targets. I wished that I would have known about them when I first got started. It's a game changer. Vaquero + ProPointer + Killer B Wasp Headphones = Lots of good finds.

If you need headphones repaired SkiWhiz is building and repairing, its fun for him. Folks that have theirs repaired by him have given him thumbs up.

He has no problem having his email posted skiwhiz1960@gmail.com

Must admit i dont use a set of KillerBees but i will totally agree with the comment that a high quality set of headphones after the detector is the most essential part of any detecting equipment, with a decent set of headphones you can hear those deeper feint signals that you could miss if not using any or a set of el-cheapo ones.Always carry about 4 sets of headphones that will cover most of my machines and also for winter summer conditions as well.

I use Killer Bees,Predators a UK make,DeusWS5,XP wired backphones and another set which i cannot recall the name but they in my opinion are the best ones that i have ever used, only downside they dont have any volume control on them but i have been in contact with the maker and he is making me the exact same set but with a volume control this time.

Tab,are the Killer B Wasp hard wired or can you also get a spare cable for them ??

And, they are my favorite Killer B style/model, and I have my long-time use set in black, but I do have a new set of Killer B II's that are camo. These two sets of Killer B's and my White's Pro Star headphones are all I need and they all work quite well. AND ..... they are all hardwired, which I prefer.

Tell you what is even a scarier thought...try to decide if you could only have one detector...which one would you keep? Shudder!
Thats something a guy should probably keep to themselves..!
Definitely not the kind of question a guy wants to answer to the Wife!

HMMMMM! answers to the wife huh, how about to poor to get another one without getting one you got ! or downsized and kept the best ! or ill health hardly got time for a zillion detectors let alone one. LOL . Me I can't do without propointer or the Shadow Pro headphones both are a must have. Ok I confess I picked up a second detector again ! and wife came into bedroom today and said your getting rid of first one right? And I lied and said I was :cheekkiss::nopity:

Its hard to make tough decissions like this. lol One detector , or one set of headphones or one pinpointer? There isnt enough light in the day to make that decission. LOL

:beers:

Hum ! Let's see , give up my pro pointer , give up my gray ghost , I don't like those thoughts ! So I say NO way !
