I just got my 5.75 concentric coil for my Vaquero and did some testing with it. It appears to be nearly as deep as the 9 x 8 stock coil. That's just unbelievable deep for such a small coil. The discrimination and separation with it is just fantastic. Yep, I'm going to do really well with this coil in the trashy places that I hunt. Get ready for some pictures, because I just know that I'm going to be finding some really good stuff with this new coil.
I have the 5.75" concentric coil and the 5.75" widescan coil.
Both are great, but the widescan coil is heavier than the concentric.
I hardly use the stock coil anymore although it is a great coil also, but I use my Vaquero around old homesites in the woods and I can weave in and around the brush and such with the small coils much better.
You are going to fall in love with the small coil!!
Good luck,
Felix
