Cell phone companies are charging you $1.00 (or more!)for dialling 411 - "information." This charge to you can easily be avoided when you want or need phone number information.
Simply use the 411/information option. All you have to do id dial 1-800-FREE-411 (for those who can't find the letters on their phone dials that's 1-800-373-3411) without incurring any charge at all... except for the minutes used, of course.
This is also effective for home land-lines as well if you have a phone company that charges for using their information service.
