Went out detecting for awhile today. I was zoned in on the hunt when I happened to look up. Here was a full grown Oak tree chasing a dog. Now tell me it's not dry.

dry ground is no fun. time for a rain dance!
We got a little sprinkle here at home tonight, but I'm pretty sure it won't show up in the rain gauge. It would be a good weekend to scour the wood chip tot lots, except for the fact that they will be full of kids, now that school is out and it is a holiday weekend. Sounds like it might be a tad warm anyway.
